I'm Tahir Haneef Palliyath, the person behind Kerala PSC Prep.

My work has spanned fintech (4 years, currently in growth/marketing at a US-based payments platform), journalism (4 years of writing, fact-checking, shipping on deadline), local coaching entrepreneurship (running prep centres firsthand), and active trading (a long-running discipline). I've also spent 2 years on global edtech projects, which is where the patterns behind this site started taking shape. I consult with edu platforms and content publishers on automated content pipelines and editorial operations.

Each of those left me with one piece of what this site needs to be: coaching taught me what students actually struggle with, fintech taught me how to handle real money safely, journalism taught me how to write something useful every single day, and trading taught me to read patterns under pressure.

Why this exists

I started this site because the existing Kerala PSC prep options are either expensive, English-only, or scattered across 20 different YouTube channels and Telegram groups. There's no single trustworthy free resource — especially in Malayalam.

What I'm trying to build

  • 1,200+ full-length mock tests — every one unlockable free by completing 3 topic quizzes
  • Daily current affairs in English and Malayalam — with MCQs every morning
  • Genuine bilingual content — written and translated for Kerala
  • Honest pricing — no email walls, no "subscribe to unlock", no fake discount countdowns

How it gets made

Every piece of content goes through a three-tier review before publishing — student check (is it clear?), professor check (is it factually right?), and exam-expert check (does it match real PSC patterns?). The triple-review is non-negotiable, even on tight days.

Most question content traces back to SCERT (Kerala state) textbooks Class 8–12, supplemented by previous year PSC papers and current affairs from primary sources. Mock-test scoring uses the actual PSC system: −0.33 per wrong answer, no fudging.
